Military Antiques & Museum: Hunting & Gathering for Lost Frequencies

I'm currently working on a photography project that is based on a WWII love story I wrote earlier this year titled "Lost Frequencies."

A few weekends ago I spent the day visiting countless antique stores looking for props and wardrobe for my shoot. Towards the end of the day, I finally came across Military Antiques & Museum.

For those of you who enjoy war memorabilia and history, check out Military Antiques & Museum in Petaluma, CA. This store is filled with well-preserved uniforms, medals, and various military artifacts. The best part is that all purchases help build funds for veterans. The store also features a museum in the basement level with life-size displays that include brief histories of each scene.

It was a very humbling experience to walk through so much history. Knowing that not all the men and women survived and that their lives were forever changed by the events of these wars makes me appreciate the life that I have today and the luxury of being able to dedicate my life to being an artist.

My heart goes out to all the men and women who continue to defend our country today and to those who did so all those years ago.

May your souls rest in peace. Your sacrifice has not been forgotten.
